Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak – communication to all our Customers
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a major impact across the World, we wanted to explain the steps we have already taken and continue to take to ensure continuity of service during the coming weeks and months.
As the scale and seriousness of the pandemic was developing in early March, we pre-emptively took several steps to minimise disruption to our business and service delivery model, including restricting business travel and encouraging best hygiene practices.
Due to the nature of our business, thankfully, we had already implemented the necessary infrastructure to support a ‘work from home’ environment many years ago. On the week commencing 16th March we took the decision to move all BCS staff to a full ‘work from home’ environment thus ensuring our staff were safe and minimising the spread of the disease.
Fortunately, for many years we have worked with customers on a global basis and our people are extremely experienced in working and delivering our services to our customers remotely, communicating via email or over the phone as well as utilising conference facilities such as Webex, Go2Meeting, Skype and Teams. Thankfully our Software Compliance Reporting Managed Service is also completely digital with data being supplied via the web to secure Portals and the resultant reports being delivered back to you securely.
As a result of all the proactive measures we have taken, we expect little disruption to the services we deliver to you.
Business Continuity Services Ltd started in 1994 delivering Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning for our customers and whilst we may no longer deliver these services, the key principle stakeholders who started the Company are still at BCS (as you will know us better) and we have used our knowledge and understanding of business continuity planning to ensure our business is not disrupted and that we are able to continue supporting our Partners and Customers through these trying and worrying times.
Finally, we would like to wish you all well and we hope that you, and all your families and friends, stay safe during these unprecedented times.
Best Regards
On behalf of the Directors and Staff at BCS
